Turkey’s first astronauts, Alper Gezeravcı and Tuva Cihangir Atasever, joined our students for an engaging Q&A session, where many of our attendees had the opportunity to ask their questions about space and the astronauts’ missions.
The event drew participation from nearly 300 students and was also attended by METU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil, Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Ekinci, Director of Science Communication Dr. Umut Yıldız, and Aerospace Engineering Program Coordinator Dr. Barış Güngördü.
