HOW TO APPLY FOR A STUDENT IDENTITY CARD?

Students who are required to pay the ID card fee must upload the bank receipt of their payment in JPEG format to the system or send it to nccreg
metu.edu.tr via email.
- Your existing photo in the system, if available, will be displayed during the application process. You can use this photo on your identity card or upload a new one.

Student Identity Card Preparation Process
- The identity card application is reviewed by the Registrar’s Office, and approval is given through the system for eligible applications.
- Applications that do not meet the criteria (such as inappropriate photo uploads, missing or incorrect payment receipts for students required to pay, etc.) will be rejected.
- For rejected applications, students must log into the program, make the necessary corrections, and complete their application.
- Students can track whether their applications have been approved or whether their identity cards have been prepared via the program they applied to (http://cardinfo.metu.edu.tr/).
- A “ready” notice in the application program means the printing stage has been completed by the company. The “Student Identity Cards” are then delivered to the relevant academic units. Therefore, it may take some time for the cards to be forwarded to the Registrar’s Office.

Lost ID cards found on campus are forwarded to the following units. Therefore, the first step should be to inquire at these units:
