A talk featuring TUSAŞ Test Pilot Murat Özpala, who will share insights into his career and extensive flight experience, will be held on our campus. The event will take place on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 14:00 in Amphitheater 3, Culture and Convention Center.
All students and staff are kindly invited to attend.
Murat Özpala, who currently serves at TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace Industries), is Türkiye’s first experimental test pilot and the chief test pilot of the HÜRKUŞ training aircraft. Born in 1971, he conducted the maiden flight of HÜRKUŞ in 2013 and, with over 5,500 flight hours, plays a significant role in national aviation projects within Türkiye’s defense industry.
