Electrical Circuits Laboratory
Voltage, current, resistance and power measuring instruments; signal generators; oscilloscope. Experiments on first and second order RLC circuits, transformers, impedance measurement. Practical usage of basic instruments for measurements and analysis of electronic circuits. Experiments on rectifier diodes, Zener diodes, transistors (BJT and FET) and on circuits composed of these devices: AC and DC analyses, biasing, thermal effects.

Computer Architecture & Embedded Systems Laboratory
Computer Architecture and Embedded Systems Laboratory hosts hands-on learning of logic design, and experimental application of concepts associated with digital embedded systems, computer architecture and organization.

Radio Frequency and Telecommunications Laboratory (RFTL)
Radio Frequency and Telecommunications Laboratory is equipped with an Agilent spectrum analyzer and a signal generator that enable the testing and characterization of RF/microwave components and wireless communications circuitry up to 6.7 GHz. The Agilent spectrum analyzer has added facilities such as enhanced RF front-end for extra sensitive measurements and noise figure & phase noise measurement. A digital soldering station mounted on electrostatic sensitive protection matt, power supplies, SMA/BNC connectors and cables, active/passive RF components from Mini-circuits such as; amplifier modules, couplers, power splitters, mixers, attenuators, etc., surface mount devices such as MMIC amplifier modules, ceramic SMT capacitors, inductors, resistors and many more components are also available in the RFTL.
Furthermore, RFTL is equipped with Feedback Instruments (www.fbk.com) Analogue & Digital Telecommunications Workstation (53-004) that comprises three workboards: Amplifiers and Oscillators (53-210), Tuned Circuits and Filters (53-220) and Modulation and Coding (53-230). This work station and all the workboards are controlled by 92-200 USB Real-time Access Terminal (RAT) and it provides a learning platform that involves the interaction between hardware, software, PC and the student. Students taking Telecommunications I/II (EEE-435/436) courses have the opportunity to experimentally realize their designs, try new ideas and carry out hundreds of other experiments using the Feedback Instruments Analogue & Digital Telecommunications Workstation.

Analog and digital laboratory
The Analog and Digital Laboratory is equipped with Agilent power supplies, multi-meters, waveform generators and digital oscilloscopes that are interfaced with a PC. These equipments may be controlled and programmed by the student using the HP-VEE program for carrying out the required measurements automatically and exporting experimental data to the PC for further processing.
Energy Systems Laboratory
Serving broad requirements of interdisciplinary research and extracurricular project activities, Energy Systems Laboratory hosts the Renewable Energy Design and Applications Research (REDAR) group, working on geography specific interdisciplinary cost/benefit analysis of alternative energy resources connected to the power grid; energy efficient solar tracking systems, power/performance tradeoffs of integrating renewable energy sources to microelectronic systems based on empirically based model development, low power and/or energy aware design of computer systems and processing units.
