METU-NCC>>Scholarship Awarded

Congratulations for Ms. Zeynep Erul for being awarded a Chevening Scholarship to undertake graduate study in the UK. She currently has offers from Goldsmiths, University College London, Nottingham, and Oxford and Sussex, to study for an MA in Gender Studies. Zeynep is currently completing her PSIR degree in Ankara.

The co-convenor of the PSIR programme, Dr Julian Saurin, says "It is extremely encouraging to see that such a young programme in a new university is already able nurture first-rate research and study. We have enjoyed the great scholarly promise of Ms. Erul. Their excellent news provides a further inspiration to development of the PSIR programme at METU NCC. We need to let it be known as wide as possible that METU NCC continues to encourage research and publication and that students at METU NCC can hope to be awarded presitigious international scholarships."
