The play, "Hoşgelişler Ola", was performed on 6 November 2009, at METU Northern Cyprus Campus.
"Hoşgelişler Ola", a one-man play about the War of Independence by Utku Erişik, founder and actor of Istanbul Municipality Theatre, was performed on 6 November 2009, at 20:00 at METU NCC Culture and Convention Center, Main Hall. The 3-hour play received a standing ovation from the students and METU NCC staff. After the play, Utku Erişik listened to the audience's opinions and signed his book, "Mustafa Kemal'in Yürekli Çocukları".
