METU NCC Continues To Grow

               The foundation ceremony for the 3rd Academic Hall was held at Middle East Technical University Northern Cyprus Campus. The academic hall, which will be built on an area of about 6700 m2 in three months, will have a capacity of 1600 students. The project will cost 1,793,000 TL. The ceremony was attended by Turkey's Embassador to Lefkoşa Şakir Fakılı, Minister of National Education, Youth and Sports Kemal Dürüst, Minister of Employment and Social Security Türkay Tokel, Mayor of Güzelyurt Mahmut Özçınar, YÖDAK President Prof. Hasan Ali Bıçak, METU President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Acar, METU Northern Cyprus Campus President Prof. Dr. Turgut Tümer, some state officials, METU NCC academic staff and large group of guests. During the ceremony, Turkey's Ambassador to Lefkoşa Şakir Fakılı, Minister of National Education, Youth and Sports Kemal Dürüst, METU President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Acar, and METU Northern Cyprus Campus President Prof. Dr. Turgut Tümer made a speech. Following the speeches the foundation fort he academic hall was laid. A reception was given in the honor of the guests.
