Students at METU NCC quickly engage not only in the intellectual rigors of the classroom, but also in activities that complement and enhance their academic pursuits. Student activities accommodate some 30 organized groups and a wide range of interests: artistic, literary, theatrical, musical, political, international, environmental and recreational.
Student groups can make an appointment with Social and Cultural Affairs Office to receive advising and support regarding programming, student leadership and budget issues. If you cannot find the groups you are looking for on our current list of Student Associations remember, you can always start it.
Success in extracurricular activities, just as with the METU NCC curriculum, depends on initiative. Be persistent, ask around, keep an eye on billboards, and other public postings of information.
Social and Cultural Affairs Office is the center of all student organizations, as well as the location of their mailboxes. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
