METU NCC's on campus Guest House has been in full operation for METU staff, alumni and students since 12th October 2006, under the conditions mentioned below.
Information about the Guest House There are 34 rooms with two twin beds in each room in the guest house. Shower, toilet, sink, television, plastic cups, and cutlery are present in each room.
The reception desk at the entrance is on duty 24 hours a day.
Food is not served at the Guest House. Our guests can take advantage of on campus facilities and services. Guests can have breakfast for 2.5 YTL in both of the dormitory canteens located inside the dormitory buildings. The canteens operate until late night and good variety of snacks and fast food such as pizza, pitta, jacket potato, salads, hot and cold drinks are offered. Besides the canteens, there is a patisserie operating throughout the day. Lunch and dinner are served at the cafeteria for 4.5 YTL. Daily menu can be reached by dialling 2000 then pressing (pound)# key on any campus telephone, or by just dialling 661 2000 # outside the campus.
COOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED INSIDE THE GUEST ROOMS. WE EXPECT ALL OUR GUESTS TO OBEY THIS RULE.
Applications, Reservations and Other Inquiries Applications need to be made by sending an email to (nccguest@metu.edu.tr) or fax to 0392-661 2009 care of Ecevit MERT under the authority of Secretary General of Campus. Applications via telephone is not accepted.
Make sure to mention full names and surnames of people who wish to stay in the guest house, check in and check out dates, and number of rooms demanded in the application form. In order for us to determine the price category of each individual applying, make sure to inform us about the relationship of the person(s) with METU so the correct amount can be appointed to each individual to pay. METU has the right to ask for proof of relationship status when necessary.
Necessary payments determined by the management must be deposited as one full payment to the account number mentioned below. It is very important that you send the receipt of payment by fax or e-mail as soon as possible for confirming the reservation. Payments after the deadline will not be accepted and you will not be able to get a refund.
